368,5 thousand tons of cargo was transported through the South Caucasus Railways (SCR) in January-February 2012, which by 2,7% exceeds the index of the same period of 2011.
57,3 thousand tons of cargo was exported for the two months, the number exceeding the export rate of the of same period of 2011 by 20,6%, while the imported cargo totaled 146,8 thousand tons, decreasing by 3,9% compared with January-February 2011, SCR press service reported.
