He expressed the view that relations with Russia should become significantly better than they have been in the past.
”It’s a strategic partnership document, and I am confident it will be signed at the appropriate moment,” Pashinyan stated.
”If sufficient legal grounds are established, it becomes a legal matter, not a political one,” he said during a press conference.
“People wait for months. A queue might be scheduled six or seven months out, which is a serious issue,” he said.
Pashinyan also expressed disbelief at the idea of Karapetyan entering politics, stating that he cannot run for parliament or prime minister.
He said that the paper later placed on the government’s table was the product of negotiations held during Serzh Sargsyan’s presidency.
Pashinyan said Armenia may exit the CSTO, citing unresolved issues and unanswered security assurances from alliance partners.
Armenia is ready to pursue EU membership, but officials stress it won’t be an easy or quick path forward.
Pashinyan says he wasn’t involved in the crash that killed a pregnant woman, arguing it wasn’t his convoy but official public transport.
“We already hold observer status in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” RA PM said.

“I am primarily acting within the framework of the agenda to renew and save the Armenian Apostolic Church,” he said.
According to him, Armenia already has several notable examples of outsourcing management—some successful, others less so.
