Armenian peacekeepers in Afghanistan, awarded commendation by the Germany's military leadership for the good outcomes of actions ensuring additional security, which have been carried out by their own initiative in the Kunduz airport, press office of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
Armenian peacekeepers from 14 February 2010 are in the Afghan province of Kunduz, where they ensure the airport security. Armenian unit is a part of German units of the international force to maintain stability in Afghanistan (ISAF).
