Armenia allows itself to be run by Tbilisi due to Georgia’s geographic location

Vahe Sargsyan, an expert at Mitq analytical center, said that the visit of Georgian Foreign Minister to Armenia once again proved that official Tbilisi denies existence of the Armenian factor in Georgia.

“Closing of Upper Lars checkpoint was designed to distract the Armenian leadership’s attention from the problems of Javakhk Armenians and wrest concessions from Yerevan,” Sargsyan told reporters on October 5.

He also offered to prohibit anti-Armenian Georgian politicians from entering Armenia.

For her part, expert an Noravank scientific research center Tamara Vardanyan said that in relations with Georgia, Armenia prioritizes communication issues and neglects the problems of the Armenian population.
