On November 15-16, Paris will host a Socialist International Committee meeting. Azerbaijan Social Democratic Party and ARF Dashnaktsutyun were offered to submit their suggestions on Karabakh conflict settlement within the framework of regional meeting of SI Committee for the CIS, the Caucasus and the Black Sea, ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau member Mario Nalbandian stated.
As he told a news conference in Yerevan, should the parties come to final agreement, a SI document on Karabakh issue will be adopted. “We have a month to prepare our suggestions,” he noted.
The head of Hay Dat Central Bureau Kiro Manoyan, in turn, pointed out that the document may bear relevance to approximation of the parties’ positions on Karabakh conflict settlement. “Parliamentary elections may prevent the Azeri side from preparing the offer in time,” he added.
The next SI Committee meeting is due in January 2011 in Almaty.
