Baku’s anti-Armenian policy is inspired by the top leadership of Azerbaijan, director of Armenian Genocide Museum Institute said.
“Historiographic piracy is a new hobby in Azerbaijan,” Hayk Demoyan told a press conference in Yerevan.
“Azerbaijanis suffer from inferiority complex. This is the reason behind constant attempts to appropriate history and cultural heritage of other nations,” he said.
“They create Azerbaijani Diaspora in imitation of Armenian Diaspora and inaugurate monuments to the victims of the alleged genocide of Azerbaijanis. This artificially formed country just invents a history for itself,” Demoyan concluded.
