Yervand Bozoyan: Baku may resort to another provocative act after Astrakhan meeting

Political analyst Yervand Bozoyan said he doesn’t expect much from the forthcoming meeting between the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents.

“The purpose of the meeting is to avoid any incidents. Russia, to all appearance, will offer a formula stipulating for non-use of force. I don’t think any progress will registered either in Astrakhan or Astana,” he told journalists on October 26.

He also noted that Russia has recently intensified activity compared to the other co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Bozoyan did not rule out that Azerbaijan may resort to another provocative act after the Astrakhan meeting.
