Chairman of European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryan said that it would have been more efficient, if Karabakh representative also signed the pentalateral statement of Heads of Delegation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, as well as the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents.
Based on the statement, specifically, the equality of three basic principles, Armenia should do its utmost to re-engage Artsakh in the negotiation process, Bekaryan told a press conference in Yerevan.
“Two of these principles – the nations’ right to self-determination and exclusion of the threat or use of force – directly refer to Karabakh. I do not think that Armenia or Azerbaijan have problems with self-determination,” said Bekaryan.
