The 2011 draft budget adopted last week will do Armenia no good, according to former Mayor of Yerevan.
“The budget can’t improve the living conditions of the citizens next year,” said Vahagn Khachatryan, now representative of the Armenian National Congress.
“The budget is not social, as described by the authorities. Armenia’s state debt will increase to exceed $4 billion in 2011, thus leading the republic’s economy to default,” he said.
