Giedrius Apuokas: progress in frozen conflicts resolution to be among Lithuania’s priorities during OSCE chairmanship

Most expectations from the OSCE summit in Astana did not justify, however, this does not mean that it was waste of time, advisor of the OSCE Mission in Yerevan Vladimir Chuntulov said during a seminar on Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the OSCE.

For his part, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Armenia Aimdos Bozzhigitov noted that during its chairmanship in the OSCE, Kazakhstan took into consideration the interests of all OSCE member states and tried to maintain balance.

Meanwhile, Giedrius Apuokas the Ambassador of Lithuania, which will assume the OSCE chairmanship in January 2011, said that Lithuania will observe the principles and values of the Organization.

He also emphasized that progress in resolution of frozen conflicts will be among Lithuania’s priorities during the chairmanship.
