3 Armenian citizens, currently on stay in Libya are out of danger, Armenain Foreigfn Ministry spokesman stated.
“All of them were transported to safe area and are out of danger,” Tigran Balayan noted. “Foreign Ministry is closely cooperating with Armenian embassies in Middle East,” he said.
Anti-government protests continue to spread across the Middle East and the world as demonstrations continue in Libya. Protesters there say they are fed up with Moammar Gadhafi's 40-year rule. Libyan protesters are taking their anger and frustration straight to the capital. Demonstrations spread to the city of Tripoli as activists seized some military bases and weapons. On state TV, the son of ruler Moammar Gaddafi warned the growing unrest could ignite a civil war.
