Member of Armenia-Sweden friendship group of the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden Fredrik Malm said the group worked hard for the Armenian Genocide Resolution adoption by the Swedish parliament.
“It is very important for me and Annelie Enochson to be here, among Armenians, and conceive the essence of the Genocide,” he said.
For her part, Chairperson of Armenia-Sweden friendship group of the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden Annelie Enochson noted that the visit to Armenia was of great importance for them, and they understand the importance of the Genocide recognition for the Armenian people.
On April 23, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with the Deputies of the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden Annelie Enochson and Fredrik Malm, awarded Medal of Honor of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Swedish Parliament.
