Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has cancelled his visit to Armenia. According to the RA presidential press office, Mr. Ahmadinejad will arrive in Yerevan at a more convenient time.
The Iranian President was expected to be in Yerevan on June 6 and 7. He was scheduled to meet with Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan and other high-ranking officials to discuss Armenian-Iranian cooperation. On May 29-30, Tehran hosted the 10th joint meeting of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission.
