Armenia expects EU to present a mandate for the launch of Armenia-EU visa regime facilitation talks in September.
At joint news conference in Yerevan with his Swedish counterpart, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian expressed hope for rapid progress of negotiations.
According to Armenian Foreign Minister, the talks aim at facilitating visa regime for 16 categories of Armenian citizens including journalists, sportsmen, students, scientists, etc.
“Abolition of Armenia-EU visa regime is the next stage in negotiations,” Mr. Nalbandian stated.
