The Armenian National Congress opposition bloc refused to participate in the 7th meeting with the representatives of the ruling coalition.
Member of the ANC working group Samvel Abrahamyan told journalists that Congress coordinator Levon Zurabyan will answer all questions regarding the ANC decision at 1pm on August 26.
The talks between the authorities and opposition launched on July 18, with the agenda consisting of two issues: conduction of extraordinary elections and development of canons of political competition.
Difficulties aroused on August 9, after the detainment of 7 ANC activists, 3 of whom are still in custody. However, the sides agreed to continue talks.
