Armenia’s President appointed new Deputy Foreign Minister

Serzh Sargsyan signed a range of decrees, among them a decree on appointing Zohrab Mnatsakanyan as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. By another decree Mnatsakanyan was relieved of his service of permanent representative to the Council of Europe.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has occupied a range of high offices in Armenia’s government also in the presidential apparatus. Since 2008 he has been permanent representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe. Before that he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Switzerland.
