Azerbaijan would have started a new war in Karabakh long ago, had it been confident of its victory, ARF Dashnaktsutyun Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Director believes.
At a news conference in Yerevan, Kiro Manoyan cited a fear to harm its oil activities as one of the reasons behind Baku’s unreadiness to start a war.
Manoyan, however, urged Armenia to give an adequate response to Baku aggression at contact line. “International community must express protest against Azeri ceasefire violations, which might lead to undesirable repercussions for conflicting parties,” he said.
On the morning of November 20, at 8.50 am local time, NKR defense army soldier Mihran Margaryan, born 1992 was killed over Azeri ceasefire violation, while on military duty.
As a result of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side, 19-year-old NKR defense army conscript Armen Simonyan was killed by a sniper shot during military duty on November 19, 8.40 am local time.
