MEASURES DEVOTED TO 89TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON IN APRIL

April 17 a measure devoted to the 89th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey will be held in the Capitol Hill in Washington. April 18-20 on the occasion of the event a forum will be held in Washington with the participation of the Armenian General Benevolent Union, American Dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church. As reported by the Armenian Assembly of America, a number of Senators, who support pro-Armenian initiatives in the US supreme legislative body, are invited for the forum. A liturgy commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 will be offered at one of Washington churches. Supreme representatives of the World Council of Churches and a number of American priests will participate in it.
