Examination by State Environmental Inspection resulted in 12 decisions for a total of AMD 0.93 mln administrative fine and calculated damage to environment worth a total of AMD 1.42 mln.
As the Inspection told PanARMENIAN.Net , the staff of the State Environmental Inspection of Armenian Ministry of Environmental Protection carried out check-ups and inspections on March 26-30, 2012.
The examination revealed several cases of violations, in particular, with regard to flora, water and atmosphere protection, as well as illegal timber transfer and hunting.
Sanctions applied by the State Environmental Inspection brought a total of AMD 1.24 mln proceeds to Armenia’s state budget within the specified period.
