As part of parliamentary race, Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc has scheduled 2 rallies, Armenian National Movement board head, 4th electoral district’s majority system candidate Aram Manukyan said.
As the politician told a news conference in Yerevan, the 1st rally was set for April 20. The date for the 2nd one is yet to be coordinated with Yerevan city administration, with the application already filed.
Parliamentary elections, due in Armenia on May 6, feature 8 political parties, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), Orinats Yerkir, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA), Communist Party of Armenia and United Armenian party, as well as one election bloc represented by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).
On March 22, ANC submitted a list with 120 candidates to the Central Election Commission of Armenia. The list is topped by ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian, followed by People’s Party of Armenia chairman Stepan Demirchyan, Republic Party head Aram Sargsyan, Armenian National Movement board chairman Aram Manukyan and ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan.
