Armenian National Movement board head, 4th electoral district’s majority system candidate of Armenian National Congress (ANC) oppositional bloc expressed intention to visit 3000 voters at their homes, as he did during the previous parliamentary race.
At news conference in Yerevan, Aram Manukyan spoke of the difficulties he faced while trying to rent an area for ANC electoral headquarters. As he noted regardless of the price he offered, the landlords refused to rent an area to ANC.
Commenting on the suggestion to have his candidacy removed in favor of parliamentary group member Zaruhi Postanjyan, Manukyan expressed optimism as to his chances and supporters, considering he’s been working for 15 years with Arabkir district voters.
According to the politician, ANC needs the electoral victory to fulfill Congress programs on finding a way out of the crisis the country found itself in because of current authorities.
