From April 1- May 20, South Caucasian Railways (SCR) commission conducts a full spring inspection of the railroad, subgrade and artificial engineering constructions to ensure the smooth operation of the railroad, power supply devices, automation, remote control and connection.
The main objective of the inspection is to detect problem areas in certain systems, eliminate defects and ensure traffic safety and prepare for spring – summer traffic.
SCR also holds committee-based spring inspection of locomotives and motor-car rolling stock from April 15-May 31.
During the inspection, the committee will focus on fire fighting terms of trains, devices and equipment ensuring safety of train traffic, ventilation systems, with the course of the inspection to be considered at the weekly conference call, SCR press service reported.
