NEW ARMENIAN ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN ABKHAZIA

Armenian Community of Republic of Abkhazia (ACRA) uniting Culture Center, Krunk Armenian philanthropic organization and Mashtots Gagra association was founded in Abkhazia. It was declared April 15 at the ACRA constituent assembly with the participation of the republic officials, social-political organizations and parties. ACRA is “to contribute to spiritual, political, cultural and social-economic development of the Armenian population in Abkhazia, which has close connection with other nations living in the republic”. When addressing the conference Abkhazian Prime Minister Raul Khajimba stated of the readiness of the republic’s government to render assistance and support to the community, which has consolidation of the society for an object.
