ANKARA DISCONTENT AT GREEK MINISTERS’ PARTICIPATION IN MEASURES DEDICATED TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE 89-TH ANNIVERSARY

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Erdogan complained to his Greek colleague Kostas Karamanlis about the participation of some Greek ministers in the measures dedicated to the 89-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey. As reported by Turkish media, K. Kamamanlis responded that Greece is an independent country and its leadership cannot hinder measures of the kind.
