Paper: rural voter tears bribe to pieces

Hayatsk paper reports a notable incident in Koti village in Armenian Tavush province.

“When looking through ballot-papers in 40/23 polling station in Koti, members of the local electoral committee noticed a ballot favoring the Prosperous Armenia party. In addition to the ballot-paper, the envelope also contained an AMD 10000 bank note which was torn to pieces,” paper says.

This was a Koti voter’s response to the briber, Hayatsk says, referring to reports on AMD10000 offered to people as electoral bribe before the parliamentary elections.
