Armenia's Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan met with Iran’s outgoing ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Sagayan.
The envoy congratulated Minister Karapetyan on successful completion of parliamentary elections, briefing on the diplomatic activity pursued in the country.
“Our strategic ties are based on both countries’ political will, which in turn fostered stabilization and consolidation of peace,” he said.
For his part, the minister hailed the ambassador’s contribution to development of bilateral relations in the field of agriculture, wishing the envoy good luck in his further career.
