Yerevan foil rolling plant ARMENAL produced 6020 tons of foil in the first quarter of 2012, which is 2% more than the planned index.
According to Armenia’s Customs Service, ARMENAL exported 5897 tons of foil in January-March 2012, which is 0.5% or 30 tons more than in the same period in 2011.
ARMENAL accounted for 5.5% of Armenia’s total export volume in Q1 2012.
The plant’s taxes to the state budget accounted for AMD 299.2 mln in the reporting period, which is almost 40% more than the 2011 similar index.
According to the press service of the company, ARMENAL contributed AMD 67.6 mln (5.1% growth) to Social Security Fund.
