The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) prepared 69 applications on parliamentary mandate renouncement on May 18, Yerkir paper reports.
However, as Central Electoral Commission (CEC) spokesperson Hermine Harutyunyan told the daily, none of them was submitted to the CEC as of May 21.
RPA members aim to collectively file applications to CEC, after they finalize them.
Though current 69 appeals enable the 109th number of the RPA electoral list to enter the parliament, fates of three more candidates (National Assembly speaker Samvel Nikoyan, former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan and Assistant to RA President Levon Martirosyan) will be determined by Thursday, the paper claims.
If they, too, resolve to renounce their mandates, Hovhannes Sahakyan, Karine Harutyunyan and Sukias Avetisyan will be able to enter the parliament.
