According to Zhoghovurd paper, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia leader, President Serzh Sargsyan and Prosperous Armenia head Gagik Tsarukyan again discussed coalition formation yesterday, May 23 evening.
During the meeting Tsarukyan offered President Sargsyan to appoint Hovik Abrahamyan at least to the post of parliament speaker.
The paper says, though Armenian leader hasn’t taken a final decision, he has urged Abrahamyan to assume personal responsibility for Prosperous Armenia’s further steps.
Though Prosperous Armenia wants the first National Assembly meeting to be held without coalition agreement, President Sargsyan doesn’t agree to it. Moreover, during yesterday’s meeting Armenian leader noted Hmayak Hovhannisyan, Vahe Hovhannisyan and Vartan Oskanian as undesirable candidates for him, the paper says.
