According to Yerkir daily, although the names of legislative or executive officials to be appointed remained unannounced at Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) sitting, the choice is obvious.
According to the daily, “Hovik Abrahamyan will be appointed as parliament speaker, with vice-speakers’ posts to go to RPA’s Samvel Nikoyan and Orinats Yerkir’s Heghine Bisharyan. If Ms Bisharyan gets the post, Mher Shahgeldyan will be appointed as Orinats Yerkir parliamentary group leader. Tigran Sargsyan will retain the Prime Minister’s post.”
“As our sources say, 4 ministerial seats, meant for Prosperous Armenia party, which refused to join the coalition, will be given to Orinats Yerkir party, or rather, those close to RPA: David Karapetyan and Nelson Zuloyan. In all probability, Orinats Yerkir will also get the seat of the Minister of Sport and Youth affairs; RPA will receive the Minister of Transport and Communication post,” the paper said.
