The results of the vote in the first round of the presidential election held in Armenia are being checked at 7 polling stations of Yerevan today. According to a decision of the central electoral commission of Armenia, within the next 3 days the ballots of 15 election centers of the capital and regions of Armenia will be counted again in the presence of observers, proxies of candidates and media representatives, as challenging materials on them are in the appeal of ex-candidate for the president, leader of National Unification party Artashes Geghamian to the Armenian Constitutional Court. Let us remind that the hearings on A. Geghamian’s suit to recognize the returns of the first round of the presidential election February 19 void are held at the Court now. The verification results should be submitted to the Constitutional Court by March 24.
