DECISION ON TURKEY’S ACCESSION TO EU TO BE PASSED IN OCTOBER

President of the European Commission Romano Prodi did not rule out the opportunity for the European border to run between Turkey from one side and Georgia and Armenia – from the other by 2015. As he stated in an interview with RFE/RL in Baku, the EU has yet to define, whether talks with Turkey on accession to the organization should be started. In his words, the decision will be made October 6 this year.
