DEPUTY REPRESENTATIVE OF GEORGIAN PRESIDENT IN ARMENIAN-POPULATED SAMTSKHE-JAVAKHETIA REGION APPOINTED

By a decree of Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili Robert Jaghatspanian is appointed Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Georgia in Samtskhe-Javakhetia region, mostly populated by Armenians. He had been Chief of Ninotsminda Department at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the country for many years, as well as advisor at the Georgian Embassy in Moscow, A-Info agency reported.
