The 17-th sitting of the Council of the heads of the CIS security bodies and special services is opening in Minsk today. As reported by the Russian Federal Security Service press office, the sitting participants are to discuss measures for localization of threats, which originate from extremist organizations, and activation of exchange of information on foundations and NGOs suspected of financing terrorists. In the course of the 2-day meeting, the delegations are also to consider the new program of joint activities for 2005-2007 drown up by the Anti-Terrorism Center.
