ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER AND US AMBASSADOR DISCUSSED SECURITY ISSUES IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

Secretary of the Security Council under the president of Armenia, defense minister Serge Sargsian and US ambassador to Armenia John Ordway discussed security issues in the South Caucasus, as well as prospects of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in Yerevan yesterday. The parties also considered the current state of the Armenian-American military cooperation and the work being carried out by the Armenian humanitarian center for mine clearing.
