ILHAM ALIYEV PREPARES PHYSICAL ELIMINATION OF TALYSH MOVEMENT LEADERS

As Tolyshpress news agency reports according to a “reliable source”, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is focused at the plans for physical elimination of the leaders and activists of the Talysh National Movement (TNM), most of whom are residing in Russia. The principal part in realizing these plans is assumed to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Russia R. Rizayev and Chairman of the Azerbaijani Congress of Russia M. Aliyev. According to Tolyshpress the source came to know about it from Mr. Rizayev himself. The source says “that the list maintains the names of12 leaders and activists of the TNM residing at the territory of Russia.” In this view Tolyshpress on behalf of the TNM has issued a statement saying, in part, that “the objective of the Talysh National Movement is to restore the rights of 1.5 million Talysh people in the Republic of Azerbaijan, deprived of all civil and political rights. As a matter of fact the Talysh National Movement is the only organized political force presently capable of resisting to the bloody regime of the Aliyevs.”
