The US hopes that Armenia and Turkey will find a way to settle their relationships, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told Turkish media. In her words, the US knows the very difficult history. “We hope that on the basis of democratic development and the economic development and the need for stability the two countries will find a way to bridge the differences”, she stated. When touching upon Turkey’s EU membership she said that the US supports Turkey’s accession.
