The history does not record the fact of the Armenian Genocide, Turkish parliament speaker Bulent Arinc stated during a press conference in Baku. In his words, the Genocide is a fable invented by the Armenian Diaspora, which for many years has spread propaganda against Turkey. Turkey is ready to open the archives for all the interested persons, he said. “However the familiarizing with the documents can reveal that the Genocide was perpetrated against the Turkish but not the Armenian population”, Arinc said adding that the issue of “genocide of Azeris in Hodzhalu” will be discussed in the Turkish parliament on February 26.
