Armenian state budget revenues grow by AMD 23 bln. in Jan-July

Armenian national budget revenues totaled AMD 505,6 bln in Jan-July 2012, with expenditures amounting to AMD 516,7 bln, Chief Treasurer and Deputy Minister of Finance said.

“The budget deficit grossed AMD 11 bln for the reporting period,” Atom Janjughazyan told a press conference, adding that revenues grew by AMD 23 bln in Jan –July 2012 as compared with the same period last year.

“Tax revenues increased by AMD 31,7 bln in Jan-July 2012 compared with 2011,” he said, adding that the official grants decreased by AMD 10 bln for the reporting period.

He further attributed 94,3% of AMD 505,6 bln state revenues to tax proceeds, state fees and social payments, with additional income and official grants totaling 5,3% and 0,4% respectively.

Dwelling on national budget expenditures, deputy minister noted that 4,9% or AMD 23,9 bln. growth was reported in Jan-July.

“AMD 30,4 bln of foreign resources was allocated to fill the national budget deficit, with internal funding of only AMD 19.4 bln. allotted,” Chief Treasurer said.
