Last two days Azeri president Heydar Aliyev spent in the intensive care unit of the Ankara military medical academy of Gulhane. As reported by “AFP” agency, the doctors consider that he will live no longer than two or three more days. Aliyev has got problems with the heart and lungs and he also suffers from diabetes. According to the agency his son and his most probable successor, 41-year-old Ilham Aliyev is in Ankara at the moment. Meanwhile, yesterday Azeri ambassador to Turkey Mamed Aliyev told journalists that Heydar Aliyev “fells well” and is not going to refrain from participation in the presidential election planned October 15.
