ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN PRESIDENTS HAD TELEPHONE CONVERSATION

Russian and Armenian presidents had a telephone conversation March 7 evening. As the press service of the Russian president told “Mediamax” agency, “Vladimir Putin congratulated Robert Kocharian on his convincing and impressive victory at the presidential elections.” The heads of the two states declared their readiness to further develop the Armenian-Russian cooperation. In the course of the talk V. Putin told his Armenian counterpart about the results of his meetings with Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze and prime minister of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia in Sochi Thursday.
