Today the tenth anniversary of the liberation of Agdam is being celebrated in Nagorno Karabakh. July 1993 Nagorno Karabakh defense army forces neutralized the weapon emplacements of the Azeri units dislocated in the town of Agdam from where the capital and other peaceful inhabited localities had been systematically cannonaded. In the experts’ opinion, elimination of the weapon emplacements in Agdam became one of the successful operations of the Karabakh army, which made possible the general victory of Nagorno Karabakh people in the struggle for independence.
