Rome is interested in the soonest settlement of the conflicts, including the Nagorno Karabakh one, which are impeding the social and political development of the South Caucasus, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi stated at the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Mr. Berlusconi highly appreciated the reforms carried out by the Azeri leadership. “Baku is gradually integrating into the European and Euroatlantic structures”, he stated.
