Extradition of Azerbaijani criminal Ramil Safarov convicted for axe-murdering an Armenian officer was discussed during Conference of European Churches (CEC) Central Committee meeting in Greece on Sept 13-14.
Committee members expressed regret over Azerbaijani President’s pardoning of the criminal, offering support to Armenian Apostolic Church. In this respect, CEC Committee issued an official note to Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II.
