Chairman of the Constitutional Court Gagik Harutyunian was not allowed to vote through presenting his diplomatic passport. As he was told at the election center corresponding to his place of residence, the law does not provide for voting on the basis of diplomatic passports. At the same time G.Harutyunian had freely voted with the same document in the first round. After ascertaining the circumstances, the Constitutional Court head was allowed to vote under the stipulation that he would send his civil passport “to register corresponding vote data.” As G.Harutyunian told journalists after voting, “this time the electoral commission members were more watchful than in the first round.”
