Armenian presidential contender, People party leader Stepan Demirchian has evaluated the second round of the presidential elections of Armenia as “unfair.” He told journalists about it after voting at an election center. In his words, “one can unambiguously certify that gerrymander takes place in the course of the second round and can doubt the returns.” In particular, he noted that “lots of ballots marked in favor of the other candidate appeared already this night, and cases of taking out proxies on various pleas are registered at the polling stations.” “We will do our best and will make corresponding assessments,” – the candidate said. At the same time S.Demirchian expressed confidence in his own victory “in case of more or less fair elections.”
