The head of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc’s parliamentary group slammed May 6 presidential polls as a mass election forgery.
“ANC does not rival the presidential candidates, rather seeing current regime as its main opponent,” Levon Zurabyan said.
“The regime is using the people’s despair as its main weapon. Armenian people are tired of falsified elections. The emigration rate is growing, prompted by current desperate situation. We need drastic change to regain people’s faith,” Zurabyan said, urging for reforms.
“The authorities aren’t ready for free and fair elections, only seeking to retain their seats at the expense of the weakening of our state,” he stressed.
