Prosperous Armenia party member commented on President Sargsyan’s statement at European People’s Party congress. In his statement, the President said that the Armenian authorities have taken suggestions of the international observers into consideration to hold free and democratic presidential elections in February.
“I would like to believe that,” Tigran Urikhanyan told Aravot, the daily reported.
“I’d like people to stay optimistic. There’ no alternative to free and fair elections with Armenia’s future developeemnt depending on them,” the MP said.
Commenting on “expectations of significant financial support” to accomplish the reforms started, the MP said, “we only need will and desire to accomplish the democratic reforms, as for money, there are many other sources where it can be procured.”
