The electoral headquarters of presidential contender Stepan Demirchian has again changed its position on the TV debate between the two candidates, who reached second round of the Armenian presidential elections. As stated by press secretary of the headquarters Ruzanna Khachatrian, Stepan Demirchian refuses to participate in the debate as the meeting format, which provides also for participation of journalists from a number of local TV companies and their asking questions to the candidates, is not convenient. In R.Khachatrian’s words, the candidate’s electoral headquarters expects that only the candidates – Stepan Demirchian and Robert Kocharian – will participate in the TV debate.
