MEETINGS OF SUPPORTERS OF TWO ARMENIAN PRESIDENTIAL CONTENDERS IN SECOND ROUND TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN TODAY

Meetings of supporters of the two candidates, who have reached second round of the presidential elections of Armenia, will simultaneously be held in Yerevan today. A meeting backing opposition candidate, leader of the People Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchian will be held in the Republic Square. At the same time a meeting organized by 15 political parties and a number of non-governmental organizations supporting incumbent president Robert Kocharian will be held next to Matenadaran depository of ancient manuscripts. This evening a live TV debate between Robert Kocharian and Stepan Demirchian will be held in the air of the Armenian Public Television. The audience, as well as journalists of a number of local TV channels will be able to ask questions to the presidential contenders.
